Install and Setup
Download the ZIP file above. Go to your WordPress admin dashboard and navigate to Plugins > Add New
Then at the top, click Upload Plugin
Choose the ZIP file to install
Once the plugin is installed, you will see this new menu in your WordPress dashboard:
On this page, please choose the URL your search page will load
Make sure this URL is not used by another page, otherwise the page or plugin may not load.
Once you choose your URL, please go to Settings > Permalinks and simply click Save to refresh your website links. (You will need to repeat this step if you ever change this setting)
You may want the search page to show a specific area by default. To do this, go to your search page and zoom the map view to your preferred location. When you are happy with the map view, click this “Save Search For Widgets” button at the top right of the map.
You will be asked to name this Saved Search
Now go to your dashboard and go to the PropertyPress > IDX Settings page. Look for the “Initial Search” setting and choose your search from the dropdown.
Save your settings.
