Active MLS listings through 3/31/15
As of March 31st, Dane County combined home and condo
inventory stood at 2,870 units, 322 units less than the combined inventory level from the same time last year, a decrease of 10.3%.
The inventory level for Dane County homes was 2,178 units, 92 less than the level from March 31st of 2014, a decrease of 4.1%.
Condo inventory stood at 692 units on March 31, 140 less then the inventory level from last year, a decrease of 20.2%.

Active listings in March were at the lowest level for any March in the last 10 years and were 51.4% below the peak. The continued trends toward lower inventory is one big reason why we expect to see rising prices in 2015.
